I'm not sure what you mean by "cell and home phone". Do you mean some type of combo deal? or individually? If the former contact Bell since they are the only option for home phone and also have cell.

If you want a good deal on long distance from your home phone we are using Distributel for an unlimited Canada and US package for $20/mo and for a couple of dollars extra you can give friends /family a local phone number to allow them to call you on your plan. Great deal.

As to a cell phone, the best deal I know for an occasional use phone is with Virgin Mobile. You buy a phone (several choices), then pay $25 every three months to maintain the plan. No contract, no extra fees. Includes voice mail. Calls are $0.25 / min for the first 5 min each day, and $0.20 / min after. If you don't use the full $25 the balance carries over, but you do have to pay another $25 each 3 months.
