These two boys on my bus are mean to me what are some good comebacks i could say to them?

Something like when you lack something positive about yourself you have to pick on others to try and look good. You could also tell them that picking on someone shows how dumb they are. Positive things produce results, negative things only create problems. There is no need to show how bad their home life is by picking on you.

I'd love to say that telling an authority figure will bring an end to this behavior but often times, it leads to even more trash talk when said authority figures aren't around.

Look them straight in the eye, this is really important...look at them straight dead in the eye with your best "I'm not messing around" expression and say in a serious, curt, and assertive voice, "don't you EVER talk to me like that again." Never take your eyes off them until you're finished.

Then simply turn around and ignore them. They will be shocked and silenced. Don't give them a chance to respond, even if they collect themselves several minutes later to taunt you again. Ignore them completely. Bullies need to be called out on their sh*t. They do it because the people around them let them get away with it. Bullies are very insecure and often have some trouble at home or other troubling issues. They truly need to lash out at others in order to feel better which is pretty sad when you think about it.

If you are being harrassed or bullied by these boys, you need to put a stop to it. Report them to your bus driver, your school principal, your parents, a teacher or another responsible adult so that they can take some action in getting their behavior stopped.

In the mean time, try to ignore the boy's meaness. They're only trying to get your attention and think that's the only way to do it.'
