why does everyone hate Hillary Duff so much?

I was a shocked as you when I read so many I hate Hilary Duff comments on Yahoo Answers. I like Hillary Duff and I can't find anything wrong with her either. She seems generally sweet, family orientated, and a private person who I never see degrading herself to be in the spotlight or the center of attention. If people are commenting on her acting ability and singing, I don't see anything wrong with it either. I think Hillary carries herself as a fine young lady and she should keep up the good work. All of us have our flaws hers was being anorexic but I would not hate a person because of their illness. Some adult actors can't take the pressure of Hollywood more less a young girl like Hillary Duff. She need people to cut her some slack.

She's all different now after she became famous through Disney Channel. She's the reason why Lizzie McGuire isn't on anymore (she wanted a higher pay), and of course through her selfish decision, the entire show is gone.

And then she went on and starved herself like all the other hollywood actresses these days, which in my opinion is pretty pathetic. She also got her teeth done and has these huge horse teeth now because she wasn't happy with her old (real) ones.

Her idiotic sister is also COMPLETELY rubbing off her fame. Haylie must be one of the ugliest people I've ever seen on the face of this earth, and she can't sing either. Without Hilary, she wouldv'e never been in Napolean Dynamite or the (annoying) Ice Breakers commercials.

Because she lost weight. But I think that's pretty stupid. I read in like, Tiger Beat or Bop that she is just growing up and fitting into her body to speak. I mean, she IS 19 now so she's growing up, looking older, slimming down some. if u don't like her 'cause she's slim now, that's a pretty stupid reason to dislike her. She's very talented and dedicated and works to please her fans. I like her just fine. I have all her CD's and plan on buying her new one next month. I don't see anything wrong with her.

People hated her because she lose a lot of weight and she never denied if she was anorexic or not. She stop don't good movies and went from super star to nothing star. She's just another wanna be in Hollywood. That's what people don't like.

like the first person said, she's over-exposed!! she also used to be sweet, she doesn't seem as sweet anymore. the business changes people. i know she's growing up but it would be nice if some of these young celebs would stop trying to grow up so quickly and it would be even better if they would stop forgetting their roots....some of these people seemed like better people before the money and the fame. she's jaded.

i agree with zeba and chemicals.....its pretty lame and shallow to hate someone just cuz they're trying to lose weight and try to look good....its like telling someone to stop wearing makeup or stop trying to look good when its none of your business.....
the only thing that matters is that she works hard at what she does and thats about it....
and yeah,just cuz she asked for a higher pay on Lizzie McGuire,i wont call her selfish.thats harsh.she knows she's becoming more popular so she's doing what anyone with proper business sense wud do.....thats all......a really good sign of a grown-up mind acc to me....

She was anorexic. That was the real base reason, then she started to date this rock dude, so that just made it worst. Then on top of that she is a virgin, and that's about it. But I'm black so these people don't really spark my interest.

I don't hate her. Heck, I don't even know her personally. I don't, however, like the image she seems to work so diligently to project. She strikes me as fawning, fake and fickle - not to mention unattractive. But hey. that's just my opinion, right? :-)

human beings in simple terms favor to hate on particularly females i imagine shes desirable and tallented. now on the different hand i dispise lindsey lohan(wish i spelled suitable)she sounds like a ^$%%& to me very stuck up and stupid.
