I have successfully synced my Names between my eMate and my mac running OS 10.4.8. (using nSync via Serial/USB) but, to make my eMate really useful I would love to be able to send text files from either Works or Notes to my Mac for editing and printing in Pages or for sending via Mail.

Is there anyone out there with Newton knowledge?

Many thanks

Joe

I'm not over-familiar with the Newton. This page might help (it says Macs are not good with Newton files - somewhat surprising, since it was an Apple product!): http://www.unna.org/mac.shtml

The most compatible format for transfer of files between Word Processors is Rich Text Format (with an .rtf extension, if it's a PC based application).

If Newton Works can save in this format, this will be the best way to go.

There is also a wealth of information here: http://tools.unna.org/wikiwikinewt/
