Okay...here's the plan:

Gargle warm saltwater, or eat some chicken noodle soup.
Drink a lot of clear liquids (No dairy/milk)
Rest your voice...don't talk or do anymore screaming.

Have you recently had a stuffy nose, or do you have allergies?
If so, maybe the sinus drainage in the back of your throat is causing it to hurt....If so, take mucinex with lots of water (check with parents/doc first...I don't know your age.)

Buy some hard candy if you don't have diabetes...those work as well as halls or vicks cough drops, and taste much better.

Most sore throats are soon over. In the meantime, the following remedies may help:

Drink warm liquids. Honey or lemon tea is a time-tested remedy.
Gargle several times a day with warm salt water. (1/2 tsp of salt in 1 cup water.)
Cold liquids or popsicles help some sore throats.
Sucking on hard candies or throat lozenges can be very soothing, because it increases saliva production. This is often as effective as more expensive remedies, but should not be used in young children because of the choking risk.
Use a cool-mist vaporizer or humidifier to moisten and sooth a dry and painful throat.
Try over-the-counter pain medications, such as acetaminophen. DO NOT give aspirin to children.
Antibiotics are usually NOT wise in the absence of a positive strep test or throat culture.

the bad thing is-if the sore throat stems from a cold that is just starting to develop-you're stuck with it. colds are viral and uncurable-they have to run their course which is about 10-14 days.

but if it is from screaming then here are some things to help soothe it.

try drinking warm tea w/honey (i like peppermint best). the warmness will help soothe the irritation

sucking on ice cubes or hard candies will help too. the cold from the ice cubes will numb the throat for a little while

gargle with salt water (2 tsp of salt to 8oz of water) do this several times a day

for pain and to also reduce swelling take ibuprofen. take 200-400mg every 6 hours but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours

I am afraid you're practically definitely describing a viral health problem, so not anything is particularly going to have an effect on the severity or the period. Take paracetamol and sufficient fluids and withe Diflamm or Chloraseptic sprays my scale down regional throat soreness. On no account gargle with both salt water or aspirin and the primary is possibly unsafe and the moment is honestly in the community irritant!

Gargle with warm salt water for 20 or 30 seconds at a time, 3 or 4 times in the morning, then again in the afternoon every couple of hours.

ALWAYS drink water to prevent throat from dehydration.

I had an extremely sore throat not long ago which was a bit painful. I found it helpful to drink water, I took Strepfen lozenges, and I gargled with warm salt water.

It also helps to always brush your teeth and gargle salt water or something like Listerine, along with antibacterial lozenges (Strepsil, Strepfen) to reduce chance of infection.

Cold food and drinks help - avoid caffeine as it will dehydrate you, and take it easy food wise, nothing tough to swallow.

I would suggest seeing a doctor first to make sure it isn't something more serious. Other ideas would include gargle with salt water for a few minutes, take lots of vitamin C, rest your voice by keeping speaking to a minimum, drink cool liquids especially water. Hope you feel better soon.

Chloraseptic spray, or Chloraseptic sore throat relief strips. They both work for me.
