Do you think there is an absolute freedom?
Are there any limits to ones freedom?

My intent from these questions is to find out how people define freedom?
Is it a state of mind, something real or something we'll always seek and never have?

Absolute freedom for me is something that is impossible to have
I like the idea of there is no 100% freedom but there is a 99.9% freedom called "responsible freedom" the 0.1% represents the line where your freedom stops other than that it trespasses others freedom.

Real and absolute freedom is the state of mind in which there is nothing but happiness. It is not physical but a mental state.Absolute freedom is possible if one does not allow things happening around , to disturb him/her. It looks to be seemingly impossible due to external factors. Once one gets Self Knowledge , it may be possible.

Self knowledge is the knowledge about the true self

That all depends upon what you are looking for and what your intent is with this question.
I will tell you liberty/ freedom is always purchased with the price of the blood of those who fought for it.
Continued liberty/ freedom is paid with the price of constant vigilance.
When the guard of those who now enjoy liberty/ freedom is let down then the forces of suppression, enslavement, and destruction of life, liberty and the persuit of happiness move in gradually or swiftly and take all of that away.
We could put liberty/ freedom into many different frames of reference.
The mind of any sane human being is always free no matter what is happening to that person.
A community of people, whether that be a town, city, state, or country is free only when the laws of that country are obeyed and founded upon principles of good conscience.
There is no absolute freedom if you think freedom is found in liberation from laws or rules designed for the purpose of keeping a people or an individual from destroying themselves, which, by the way, history has proven again and again and again.
The limit to ones freedom is found in their willingness to subject theirself to a higher law of living given by an all wise, all loving, all merciful and all powerful creator who literally calls us His Children, sons and daughters.
Only this creator knows true freedom which yields the fruits of absolute joy(which is what I believe what we are really talking about here) which we do not fully experience here. This creator has said the very end of our mortal existence is to have joy and to continue to have that joy forever after this life.
That to me is absolute freedom.
Good question.
