I do think he is up there as one of the greatest footballers in the world right now, next year or the next he should be the greatest, he is improving every season and by just looking at this season you can see why everyone is saying this.. He will definitely reach that status in a very short amount of time!

it depends who YOU think the best player in the world is. C. ronaldo is a great soccer player, he is very young and he will bring great things to the sport of soccer in the next few years. I think Ronaldinho is the greatest footballer in the world, but lately his way of playing has changed. he is not the player anymore that is feared and marked through out the whole game.

no hes not the BEST but he is extremely good.
The current best player acc to me is Ronaldinho.
The mot expensive player is/was/will be/was but is still valued now Zinedine Zidane

I think he is a good player but ther are some players that outstand c. ronaldo like RONALDINIHO, WAYNE ROONEY, MARADONA,PELE. So i wouldnt really call him the best player.
