There is no way to tell how many times I have started over. I have started over in small ways as well as in bigs ways. But I do know this, major start overs are harder since I am older. I had a major start-over fifteen years ago and hardly gave it a second thought, of course that time it was my doing. Now I am starting over, not of my own accord, and it is tough, let me tell you, it is tough!!! No rewind button here that I can find!!!

Several....It's Not a Question Of Rewinding Rather Simply Beginning Where You Be And Accepting That In Order To Continnue ~ You Must Move Forward From That Place Where You Are. It Has To Be Done When You Find Yourself At That Point In Life......Or Some Such Thing....Some People Never Know What That's Like. Others Eat It For Breakfast. Which Kind Are You Miss Mo?

I'm not sure I've ever "started over." I think it was more like......stuttering at the starting line. I would go......stall out........rev the engine and take off........only to lose power yet again. Finally.......with a helpful shove from kind bystanders......I took off and never stopped.

I don't think it is as simple as hitting the rewind button. I think you have better luck with "fast forwarding." You can't ever go back and correct what has happened before. You can't relive it again. You can only move beyond and make it quickly to the next checkpoint where you can then prove what you have learned by trying it a different way.

Fast forward allows us to leave the bad behind.....and push on towards the hope that lies ahead. Never try to start over.....always look beyond to what's next.

Unfortunately, there is no rewind button, not even a "delete" button. I've tried to start over many times, and it looks like it's going to be an on-going process. Actually, each time I wake up in the morning I think, "how am I going to improve, make things better?" so I guess everyday is a little like starting over.

Not like hitting a rewind button easy er. In my life I was a sad abused child. A party girl who danced for a living. A Sunday school teacher and wife to a cop. A mistress to a very rich man. A hard working mail carrier. A cowgirl. Now.....not telling.

I don't know if it was "starting over"... because I carry over memories and lessons learned each time...

I'm 26.

I was stupid when I was 19 and got married for a whole year.

Left him and was technically homeless for a while (I lived in a shelter).

Got back on my feet and went to college full time and graduated.

Another tragedy/life change incident.
I packed my belongings in my car and drove across the country to a strange city and came very near to being homeless again.

Got back on my feet and had the beginnings of a career.

Got bored with it after less than a year.
Moved to NYC which is more culture shock than moving cross-country.

Exploring my artistic side, thanks to my supportive boyfriend.

Is it starting over? If that is defined by "letting go" of old stuff... I have started over ALOT. Atleast two or three times as described above.

Once the decision is made to let go and try something completely new and unknown... it's easy.

The friction before you get to the point of starting over is what is most difficult.

I have no idea how many times. I do know that I am starting over again. I have nothing to start with but I know one thing I will not let it get me down. Long time marriage is going fast and now it is time to statrt over. I am not just moving from a house or a city, I am moving several states. Scary but it has to be done.

Nope.

Starting over requires a lot more than hitting a button.

We as human beings make mistakes, all we can do is learn buy them. It`s not easy to start over, there is no button, only your brain can to tell you where to start. If you have someone to listen to you, that helps clear your mind and possibly give you there opinion, you may feel better. GOOD LUCK!

I am still counting.
The resetting part is easy, press play is a lot harder. You're always alone if you reset completely. But then again, what doesn't kill will make you stronger.
Just don't turn bitter if not every 'play' isn't that succesfull as you had hoped.
good luck
