Yes. Baby is getting bigger and heavier so pressing down more heavily. Keep up a good fibre diet as becoming constipated will be the last thing you need at this stage! (trying to empty bowels with possible stitches can be a tad uncomfortable! So the softer the better!!) And if you are breastfeeding afterwards, you will need to make sure you drinks lots to keep hydrated otherwise that could cause constipation too.

Oh yeah it's totally normal. Just look at it this way you now have a watermellon sitting on your stomache at all times. So there's not a lot of room for other things, including food. So it has to go some where. Good luck.

I would say yes but it depends on your body. Increased B.M. can be a sign that your body is preparing for birth by clearning your system. I said it depends on your body because it's different with every person and from pregnancy to pregnancy. Hope this helped!
