Sure you can. Everything you do. Even the slightest thing sets off a ripple effect. Sometimes the most important things in life are right in front of you. Or if you are tired of the results of your own best efforts you can take a really fulfilling path and let GOD call the shots for a while. Jesus can take you there.

GOD bless ya.

I think we can do whatever we want with our lives. It's easy and convenient to believe there is such a thing as fate because that way we can blame everything on it. e.g. I dont like my job but it is my fate so there is nothing I can do to change it.

Fate..karma...whatever you want to call it, I believe we can guide it to a certain extent, but it is the attitude you have and how you perceive that Fate is what is priority.
This you can change.

Sure. Just change your attitude, work hard, mage good decisions, and you can improve your life dramatically.

Or quit your job, start doing drugs, drink heavily, and you'll also change your fate.

But I doubt it's the kind of change you're looking for.

I don't accept the concept of faith, nothing is preordained, the future is not definite, what I do effects my future.
