it seems to me that the yanks have lost their touch in sport these days, ie golf , football ( soccer ) tennis, yaughting ( americas cup ) i do beleive the japs are better than you at baseball these days,, whats happening, are you all getting to obese to play, and before you start, my teeth are perfect!!

They fell victim to their own public image instead of proving it with confident skill as a team. Never underestimate an opponent. Any adversary can defeat you until you have actually secured the victory.

Overly pampered. Everything is our society is a cause for concern. Reason - the overpowering media hype on every aspect of life. You can't turn on the TV, read a newspaper, or listen to radio without hearing a story about how something is harmful. Big Brother is alive and well in the USA.

We just don't care anymore. Why risk an injury for some kind of tournament when I'll get paid ten times as much if I just play a regular season back home.
