I have 3 computers on all the time. One computer is used only for providing shared data space and laser printer for the other two. That computer is only turned off during a power outage. The other two computers are restarted when a problem is suspected. Of course, I run anti-virus and anti-spyware scans regularly. I use Disk Cleanup and Defrag once a week.
All three are desktops.
