Try dow scrubbing bubbles and then spray some WD-40 on the gasket to keep it from being damaged.
You might use the bleach and then rinse it off well, then apply the WD-40 to the gasket

Have 2 buckets for cleaning put a strong bleach solution in one and plain water in the other. Wipe the rubber with the bleach solution first let set for a minute then wipe it off with plain water repeat untill all the mold is gone. That how we kept the rubber gaskets clean and free of mold at the deli I worked at.

Transmission fluid on a rag will not only remove mold but lubricate the seal. Rinse with vinegar and water 50/50 solution.

Depending on where you live. Try Awesome Orange, it will clean anything and it doesn't smell bad either. Just make sure to wipe it down with a wet rag after using it or it leaves a bit of a sticky residue.
Hope this helps

I just use a old toothbrush with spray & wash, or the orange
glo cleaner on it.
I have also used ammonia and water, directions on the ammonia.
Just keep it up, and it will be easier to remove.
good luck
