Absolutely yes! Students should learn at an early age what good grooming is, and uniforms are a large part of that!

its not the question of being cool or not. it is a great idea for all schools to go uniforms. 1. it makes the school look neater and higher achieved. 2. it keeps the people with money from picking on poor people. take it from one of the poor kids. its not our fault that we cant have name brands and the same style that ya'll think is cool. so uniforms

i vote no simply for the fact that I have had to wear them. They are a complete waste of money. Some people might not can afford 2 wardrobes of clothes. We also did not have a certain store to buy from so everyone still got judged by where they got their uniforms. You could tell where people got their clothes from whether it be from Hollister or from Goodwill. Hope this helps

the way i see it is a bigg time yes..
.. you don't need to wake up each morning and stand infront of your closet an hour to descide what to wear esp. if you care about how you look and don't like to wear the same blouse twice each week.. so 1 -2 and you're done.. no one will say anything about forms' then you could save your new clothes on weekends or afternoon outtings.. so they browse with a wow..

i never liked uniforms..
ppl say all the crap about
1) equality?? hello??? other stuff like bags, wallets, watches, and now u have mobile fones and mp3players dont exactly help make everyone look/feel equal; then thers walking to skool vs taking the bus vs being chauffered in some fancy car.. try equalizing that
2) having no need to choose wat to wear every morn ??excuse me but i believe ALOT of us out there DO love to try different clothes everyday. w/o uniforms these ppl get a choice, if u dont like to chose then just stick to 3 sets of clothes almost making them like uniforms anyway.
3) being neater/organised/wellgroomed??? hello?? thats crap, so tertiary institutions are messy/disorganised and ungroomed??? (btw where i come from our tertiary eductation allows us to wear whatever we want.)

Uniforms are just a lousy excuse for wanting to CONTROL the helpless kids. Help put colour and variety and choices back into the lives of kids!!! say NO to uniforms!!!!!!!!!!!!

I vote yes. Too many kids try to keep up with what the others have and many times their parents can't afford it, the clothes today are so expensive.

yes the things kids are starting to wear to school are getting out of hand. some girls are going to school in almost nothing. the guys who's pant are falling off really bug me. it gives respect to the children teaching them to dress nice.
