I didn't think that game was even out yet. Anyway you need to go through all the season or career mode, I can't remember the name, but anyway you will be able to increase your stats and get more power. Also you can try buying different equipment or as a last resort try the power shot, although that shot is extremely difficult to hit straight.

According to my husband, the TW expert on PS2, you continually tap the R1 button whilst completing the swing. Keep practising!

buy a control pad with a turbo button and hold it down on your back swing!
