STOP! STOP! My sides are hurting! I can't breathe!!
ROFL
In all seriousness, even the Democrats thought he sucked. They like him now that he is an old man with a big heart and no brains trying to rehabilitate his image by giving away other people's money and trying to bring peace through surrender.

Successful at what ?????????? You either was not born then or in a institution of some kind. He ranks near the bottom of successful presidents of all time. It was under his watch that we had our first glimpse of terrorism and did nothing about it. If he would have shown our strength then, maybe just maybe, most of what happened since would have been less severe.

Carter was successful at being a failure.
He is considered the worst president that we've ever had.

He was the first President to get interest rates up to 17% and halt car traffic. They were all lined up at the gas pump on alternate days. He was also the first to have a brother that started a bad beer company and I believe he was the first to have lusted in his heart. Quite a few firsts wouldn't you agree?

He wasn't, he was an honest man with integrity, the politicians at that time was not used to that and fought his every move, remember he followed Richard Nixon/Gerald Ford, while Ford was an honest man he pardoned Richard Nixon who was not a crook just ask him.

Because he gave away the Panama Canal,
Got the Shah of Iran (a friend) deposed and put Khomeini in his place,
gave us a brief spurt of double-digit inflation,
and in the last year of his presidency, declared the first peanut shortage in human history.
