I'm after a 30gb ipod and can get one over here for £190. In november i'm going to new york and in their 5th ave store they are advertised as $249. I don't know whether to wait but am wondering if i'm going to get over there and find that they then add tax onto that price which will make it the same as over here. Can anyone help??

If you make informed decisions and approach your penny stock investments with the same thoroughness that you’d use in your other investments, you too can unlock a whole lot of profit potential. Learn here https://tr.im/MNxxT

It’s absolutely true that penny stock investors can make very quick gains. Synutra International, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYUT) is a great example of a penny stock. This dairy-based, nutritional-products company has jumped from a little Bulletin Board operation to a billion dollar corporation. The company finally graduated from Over-the-Counter status to the NASDAQ Stock Market bringing with it 113% gains in less than two months.

This happens all the time and it’s how some of the best investors in the world became the richest investors in the world. Buying some shares for pennies on the dollar and selling at $10 or $20 is possibly the fastest way from being a hobby investor to a super investor

Yes! It's much cheaper in the US based on real dollar terms. If you look at Shopzilla.com (US comparison site) and find the cheapest ipod that is currently in-stock you'll see a 30GB ipod for $242.95 with tax at Amazon.com. On Shopzilla.co.uk (UK comparison site), you can find the same ipod for £189 with VAT at Comet.co.uk.

According to xe.com, the exchange rate is 1.87 dollars per pound. So the Comet.co.uk ipod = $353.43 and the Amazon.co.uk ipod = $242.95.

Even if you go to NYC and buy from the high street, tax won't be more than 10% (at most!), so you're looking at $275 vs $353

Where do you live? iPods aren't the best, i tell ya. If you live somewhere near Singapor or Japan, check out the lastest tech from other brands. And I dont think prices will change alot from country to country. If you'r going to New York anyway, wait. Cauz iPods are made in US, so it's cheaper here (not a lot, I think)

I wouldn't buy anything like that from overseas, because what if it turns out to be faulty? Or it could turn out to be incompatible with your pc for some reason. Personally, it's not a chance I would take with something so expensive.

it's cheaper to buy anything in America almost!

you could easily smuggle it past customs anyway (not that I would condone that type of thing of course!). How would they know you did not have it before you went? you could have taken it with you when you went to USA and had it for a few months before you went.

confident, it is going to artwork. yet, you will ought to purchase a diverse wall charger or means adapter by way of fact the U.S. and uk use diverse means plugs. yet, the function of the iPod itself is going to be a similar. The document formats are conventional. Mp3s for songs and mp4s for video clips.

check these out:

you could get them shipped to your hotel in NYC for a delivered cost of $206.98 (tiger), $189.16 (tech for less)

if you buy something online in USA, no tax added unless the online retailer also has a presence in the state to which goods are delivered.

Boy I am feeling helpful today....before my 1st cup of tea yet...
