My little boy had eczema on his cheeks. I was not sure what method to use but I didn't want to make my boy go through any surgery treatments at this young age. Some suggested a plastic surgeon since it was in a very visible location but our family doctor recommend this natural guide.

Elimination of food allergies is an important thing in dealing with eczema. Milk, eggs, & peanuts account for 80% of this condition.
Naturopaths treat with Fish oil, GLA, Zinc, Glycyrrhetinic acid & witch hazel (topicals), and quercetin plus bromelain. Adelle Davis has a good discussion on eczema in Let's Get Well; see also: Prescription for Natural Healing and Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine which also contain good advice on detecting and dealing with food allergies. Good luck!

Have you seen a dermatologist?
You can try this. It might sound strange, but I know it works.

Soak 6 aspirins in just enough water to dissolve them
Mix the aspirins into a combination of 2 tablespoons of Vicks VapoRub and 1 teaspoon Shea Butter.
Apply at least an hour before showering

I hope this helps, but remember, you still need to see a dermatologist.
