Marriage should always be by choice.
Marriage is hard, and it takes a lot of work and sacrifice, and that's when you both go into it willingly. I don't know how someone can make it work if they are trapped in a marriage against their wishes.
Even arranged marriages can work if both parties are willing. They may not start out loving each other, as people do when they marry by choice, but if they agree to be married, and are both committed to making it work, I think they grow to love each other over time.
But marriage should never be forced on an unwilling person. The person who is unwilling should simply put their foot down and say no, and refuse, even if it gets them into trouble, or makes people angry. Marriage is too big a deal and too hard to try it when you absolutely don't want it.

What do we think about what? That's totally up to you, if you don't want to get married then you just don't! Why would you want to be forced into a marriage. If you live in a free country then it is by choice.

marriage should always be by choice not force at all....when you are forced into doing something you will have a hard time making it work out...marriage should never be forced upon anyone...

Obviously by choice. I think even arranged marriage is okay because the boy and girl are given time to speak and decide.
I would call the police and have arrested someone forcing someone to marry

Should always be by choice. YOu force something on to someone and they dont' feel the same way. It will show in the mariage and the person heart wont' be in it. And of course you want to know the person loves you for you. not that they will grow into it.

marriage should never be by force. you have to live with that person and it would be a mistake. this is the millenium and people should never force anyone! CHOICE is my answer.

Marriage is a bit like religion: It is good for social order, and beneficial for the individual. Leaders have recognized these advantages long ago and have therefore decided to institutionalize both, to be able to hammer the message into the brains of those who think otherwise.
