if it's pretty light and not noticable, then dont shave them.
it's a pain. it really does grow back darker and thicker.
try laser hair removal if the hair is bugging you.
it gets rid of it permanately!!

Georgia no matter what dun shave ur legs!! its is absolutely true that ur hair grows much faster darker and ur growth becomes much more if u shave.Ur growth incrases cuz the hair splits when u shave and dats huw it grows later on..so never Shave...A BIG NO...u can wax ur legs..that wud be a much smarter option for the long run. It also takes off tanning n growth reduces.

In fact georgia u cant be shaving all ur life. U have to start waxing some time or the other. And if u initially start shaving then it reli pains when u start to wax.

As far as hair removal creams r concerned i think they damage ur skin n make it look darker. The hair cumes back much faster when these r used. And u have to keep repeating it in very short periods of time.

And ya using epilators is a good option as well. Though it pains a lot in the legs ..these can be conviently used for hands. But again it depends on the current growth. U have fewer hair then i think u can manage with it .

But yet try waxing only if u really think u require it . Otherwise dont . Cuz then u have to continue it till the rest of ur life.

All i said was from my very own experience . So the choice is urs!!

shave in a warm shower or bath, if possible.

Wait a few minutes before starting to let the leg hair soften. If you take only showers, wait until the end of the shower to shave.

Sit on the ledge in your shower, if possible. If your shower has no place to sit, raise one leg against the wall of the shower and balance carefully.

Apply a small amount of shaving cream, rubbing it into a thick lather and spreading it over your leg. Avoid using soap in place of shaving cream, as it will dry out your skin.

Place the razor at the base of your ankle and pull gently up over your entire leg. If you experience severe razor burn, try shaving in the same direction as the hair growth. You may not get as clean a shave, but you'll avoid raising red bumps.

Rinse the blade between every stroke, and be sure to keep the razor wet while you're shaving.

Shave the entire leg until you've removed all the shaving cream.

Rinse.

Repeat for the other leg.

Pat dry and moisturize.

If it is not noticeable I would wait because once you start shaving your legs, you have to keep it up, and yes it does grow in thicker and darker. If you or your parents can afford it. Try waxing. That is what I do and it last a lot longer than shaving, and makes my legs a lot smoother.

Hi - I shaved my legs at about the same age, I would probably recommend getting them waxed more than shaved.

It does hurt at first but it grows back much finer and you wont have to get them waxed as often as you have to shave. Plus over time the need to wax is much less.

With shaving it's probably about twice a week and more in summer and as you get older it gets darker and courser and you'll have to shave more often. Plus you'll probably want to do under your arms and bikini line. Be careful if you shave because the blade is so wide and usually your private hair is only a few mm outside the bikini line so over time the hair will grow the width of the razor - not pretty.

A depilatory cream is as good as waxing but if your skin is sensitive it can burn you.

There is also ::

Epilation
Electrolysis

Your hairs get worn out a bit so they look thinner at the ends. When you shave, they are new, thick hairs. So yes, they will look a bit more noticable. No, they don't grow in differently - it's the same hair.

If you're 14, you may want to start or people will notice and you might have to suffer some crappy comments. If you're very light haired it might not make too much of a difference.

It's up to you, but I think shaved legs are prettier.

If you really want to get rid of hair on your legs then the best way is not shave them, cause it is real true about thicker and darker hair, you can use "Braun Silk Epil Ever Soft", it will be better.
