If you know someone lies to you about small stuff, do all those lies equal a bigger one ? Are they more or less dangerous ?

a lie is a lie and if they find out then they will not trust you anymore..it is better not to say anything as to just tell a little white lie as you call them...

if the white lie was anything other than a lie the term lie wouldn't be included in it. if they lie about "small stuff" they will eventually lie about something big. sometimes the truth hurts, but it doesn't hurt as much as being lied to then finding out otherwise.

Little white lies can become big black stains in a relationship no matter how stable it is. i.e. Not too long ago i gave i girl tons of hugs cuz she was crying. Then another guy gave her a hug. Now im starting to get the feeling she just did it for the attention. I feel heartbroken now.

if you are caught out on a little white lie, you may be accused of lying about important things even when you are telling the truth

such a nice question to post! it would really make people think but i do think that if a person could not be trusted in small things, how much more on the big ones? that is always my perspective when it comes to lying..

if someone lied about the small stuff, i'd take everything the person said with a pinch of salt. trust no one... this planet is full of liars!

if the lie is caught, its bad for sure. If not... ppl walk away happily. So I say NO, it dosen't matter.

it depends... some aspects of my job (us army) are kept secret for matters of national security so i guess it depends on how good your relationship is and how well you know one another.
