okay - if the woman in her 20's and is yacking away on their cell phone and she's wearing stilletos - I would giggle, but offer to help.
Or a 20-ish year old studly drinking a starbucks holding his briefcase and checking his watch - another giggle and just ask if they're okay
elderly - definitely not funny - hate to see them actually fall and break their hip.
Little kids - well their mom is there to help. And they're allways tripping, right!?
enjoy your day!

I have heard a story about this from a friend of friend, so Im not vouching for its authenticty 100%...
On a train platform one wet winter morning, a man was running for the train, tripped and fell over. The surrounding commuters all laughed, especially when they saw that he had s**t himself. The friend of the friend however, noted the look of horror on their faces, as they stopped laughing the moment they realised he had actually broken his neck and died in the fall. How awful would you feel?!?

I go to help, then have to try really hard not to laugh...obviously if they are really hurt i wont laugh, but for some reason it is something that makes me crack up, i dont know why, i have tried to stop but im at the point of bursting by the time i have helped them get their stuff together. if others have gone to help already i dont go and help, it gets to be too many people and that can be embarrasing for them...instead i try to hold the laughter until im out of view...it really is a problem i have.

depends on the type of fall and what kind of traffic is around,, if someone is drunk and theres alot of traffic,, id run over and help to the grass and let them pass out there or on the sidewalk,,, and call the cops to come and pick their butt up,, if it was a clumsy not paying attention slip and theyre able to get up,, id just let em go,, if it was an elderly person or little child ,, id be right there,,, the only time id laugh is if it was an enemy,, but only if they didnt get severely hurt ,, then that wouldnt be right,,,

It's always funny when you see someone fall down. The only time it isn't funny is when it happens to yourself. Reminds me of the time I was at the bowling alley and this woman got her fingers stuck in the bowling ball and actually threw her whole body out on the lane and did a belly flop because of the force/momentum she used throwing the ball.

If it is a big fall and they are hurt I would go and help them, but if it was just a stumble and they carried on embarrassed, I would giggle my head off without them knowing of course, but usually I am the one who is doing the falling.

I giggl to relieve the tention of wondering at first if they are ok. I usualy ask if they want help but sometimes guys get offended so sometimes I'm a bit standoffish.

I try and help. It's not much fun seeing any human trip, and especially persons' in their 20's.

If they're in their twenties, and they don't fall, it would depend on how goofy they looked while tripping, as to whether or not I would giggle. I would always offer help.
