Obviously a 100th is a Centenary, a 200th a Bi-Centenary etc. But a 150th? I suspect there isn't one, but if there is please let me know.

The Romans had a word for 'one and a half'! It is 'sesqui-' , so 'sesquicentennial' is the correct word for 'one and a half hundred [years]'.

Sesquipedelian, meaning being long-winded, literally means 'one and a half feet long' ... in other words, a speech (on a scroll, presumably) which is 18 inches long instead of the foot which was strictly necessary!

Is that a sesquipedelian answer for you?

I know there is one but it was too ugly to use, so planners simply used 150th.
