Why do so many news readers shake their heads up and down, left and riight when reading or reporting a news item, perhaps all around the whole world.

its a media thing. just like when they read the news, they are holding papers and shuffle them around but never read off them. its a scam to make the people think they are far more intelligent and we need to watch and believe everything they say. its a bunch of crap

Yes it is a new thing in the past 10 years. I think they learn to do that in news team school. It is noticable and irritating to me. I didn't think anyone else noticed it.
