I gave birth just 3 months ago, had an episiotomy. The doctor says we can get back to normal life because its already healed, which means we can resume love making.. I just want to ask if any of you hurt everytime you make love with your husband. I am really in pain, more painful than when I lost my virginity. I am not enjoying it now.. And also, why I cannot get wet now, even if I am really horny and get pleasure with the touch of my husband..I really loved him, I wanted to spend a good sex with him..and if Im not enjoying because of the pain, how could I?Please advise..

I have had 4 children and everytime i gave birth i had an episiotomy but it did not hurt when my husband and i resumed lovemaking. So i think it is safe to say that it is not the episiotomy that is causing your discomfort as long as you are sure that it is completely healed. I think that you have to go and see your doctor. Most probably, you have a yeast infection. try browsing over the internet on yeast infection. Hope this helps...

when I had my first baby, I went back tp making love with my husband like 6 weeks after the baby was born. Much needed too. If you are having trouble getting wet maybe consider useing a lube so you are not so dry. It might still be sore for a little bit, but give it time. If after a little bit it still hurt so see your doctor about it and see what he says. Good Luck.

The episotomy that is used to butcher women....is the cause of all of this pain. You really need to seek out a plastic surgeon who is experienced with genitals that have been butchered by your OB/GYN!!!

The plastic surgeon can put you all back together again and you'll be as good as new!!!

This is not abnormal. Go slow use lube.
Wetness may or may not return.
Keep the lube at the ready.
