I think so, as their dictatorial leadership is hell bent on nuking its opposition, and we won't allow that now will we? Had we once in the Korean war allowed MacArthur to presecute the war and achive a military victory , we wouldn't be facing this issue now would we?
unlike Iraq or Iran North Korea does posess weapons of mass destruction, so since we or our leaders have stated that we won't put up with such ,we should eliminate the problem now, China, Russia and Japan will back us 100%

Nope. Not likely. S.Koreans will not take any action as you can see they talk more than they take action. If you get in touch with S.Koreans, you may find that they only are intereted in things they can be benefitted from it. It's quite sure that if the North and South come to gather, S.Korea probably will suffer a financial crisis. This is similar to the East and West Germany. Germans are strong enough to keep the country in shape, but Korea??? It's not that strong economically or politically. How can they survive if they got reunion?

More to that, most S.Korean men are fleeing abroad for avoiding from taking up responsibility of getting into army service. They are just not that nationalistic as they seem to be. A war?? Not likely to happen.

Unfortunately yes, but not right now. If you are a young kid wanting to know this, then that is good, if not, you will probably get drafted. The way the U.S. and the North Korean's are going, these 6 party nation talks going on aren't helping. Hell, the Korean's aren't in the negotiation's anymore, so yeah, there will be one more all out war with them, and mainly air and sea warfare to along with some of our brave soldier's and marine's to kick their sorry a@@.................

The 38th parallel treaty has been in place for along time but what you don't hear is people are still dying every day from skirmishes along the border, Yes we will go into global war as long as we keep using cowboy diplomacy "which has not been working to well" be sure to remain educated and always ask the unfavorable questions!

I think we need to do so now, why wait until they have invaded us, get out of Iraq and focus on North Korea where the real threat is. Oh and when we are done, none of this money to rebuild your country crap either. They should take their lumps and learn from them.

Nuclear technology was developed by Europe, USSR and US. Therefore, the responsibility of its proliferation falls with them as well. You cannot engage with an all out war against the whole of other world. It will be disasterous for you as well.

As I was boarding a train the other day somebody handed me a copy of the newspaper "Jesus Wins!". In there was an article identifying Kim Il Sung and his progeny as the Antichrists.

God, it said, will strike them down,.

Not to worry: we will be safe.
