You can send an honest man to Washington but within minutes hes corrupted, and who wouldn't be with all the lobbists pushing favors, money, trips, etc at them. Both are equally as guilty and anyone who places all the balme on either party, is very narrow minded, and not very intellegent or they are part of the over all lets buy our way into power! It wasa tactic used by organised crime, which enabled acts like ricco, so why then do we allow, how long must we tolerate corruption in governement?

When it comes to corruption, there is no political difference. It is a shame that "Honest" politicians are hard to come by. Until payoffs are eliminated by lobbyists, the temptation to corrupt will exist for both parties. The voters of this country need to vote with facts for the people that are running for office. All organizations need to stay neutral and not endorse any one party. yes, this includes the labor Unions and the NAACP as well. We all need to vote for the person that is the most honest on the issues and has the least amount of financial backing from the lobbyists. This goes for the Mayors of your local communities , all the way up to the President of the United States.

I Just don't agree with that birdsnake. I think its the republicans that do that. IMHO anyone that says "vote for me, I have family values" and then turns his back on those values completely after hes elected. He is the worse snake. so how you can you turn around and say that the Dem's do exactly what your party does to you. The Dem's are the only ones who actually stand up for people's rights..

Actually, I don't think it has anything to do with the party. I think most of them are corrupt to a point. They are always concerned about how something affects them, and not the country or its citizens. They all just want to get rich quick.

Probably equal - Would be great if other parties had a voice. The D&R's seem to have a political monopoly. Wonder why no one questions this ?

I feel it doesn't have anything to do with being a Dem or GOP, but by their own heart mind & soul & how honest they are with their own morals.

Don't know about corruption.
I do know that Democrats use nothing but lies and deceit to get elected.
It works. They use the ignorance of their base to keep power.
