I contemplated suicide as a child and hoped I would be dead by the time I was 30.
It was dangerous to live my life in such misery but I'm glad I lived through some monumentally painful experiences because, at 32, my life is just beginning to make sense...

Not sure if it was flipping my car end-over-end and getting thrown out or taking 100 pills (mix of vicodin, oxycontin,muscle relaxers and antidepressants) or meeting a stranger I met on the internet for sex or maybe running on top of a high stone wall in the rain. I usually stay very safe so these are the only things that really come to mind from the past couple years.

A nighttime HALO jump into Cambodia in 1969. (High Altitude Low Opening parachute jump into hostile territory) 35,000ft at night with the North Viet. Army waiting on the ground for us.
