Blue is my favorite color for a website. The blues are more business related. Colors like pink or purple make the website seem like you should not take it seriously.

Purple, hands down. It's very pleasing to the eye and has it's own energy. Try different shades, blended with pinks or blues :)

Yup black with light letters......it's easy on the eye. It allows the content that you want to pop out be seen more easily and it just looks cool.
