This depends on the context of the usage.
Are you looking for correct english, urban english, conversational english, The Times english? etc
Basically what you were saying is a statement and not a question, therefore it isn't asking for a pause or additional time.
However - it is commonly accepted, so okay in that format.
Hope this helps.

Written English is different from spoken English, so whilst it would be perfectly acceptable to SAY "One moment, please." it is a contraction and would therefore not be the correct way to WRITE it. Though, let's be honest, when would you ever need to write it?

Please wait a moment is the correct one, admittedly not listed in your question! All the other phrases are asking the other person for a moment, "Please wait a moment" is the only one telling them that they have to wait for you.

pretty much everything you use to interrupt someone while they are talking sounds a bit impolite. so i think you should only do it when someone is ranting and missing the point. the important thing then is that they understand that you want to interrupt them and that you are confident enough to be able to do it. so whatever feels the best for you should do the trick. please is useful, as it shows you are not meaning to be rude, so i would say one moment, please is fine.

i dont like to use just a moment please, i like one moment please, especially if there is someone on the phone and i want them to wait a little while, or just a min!
but at the end of the day just say what you like! we will understand!

One moment please, to me, sounds better than the rest. Just a moment sounds impatient, like they put you off....wait a moment sounds rude. I'd pick #1!

If you have to say any of those words, its probably because someone is being very rude and interrupting you anyway. Just say exuse me I was speaking to someone.

They're all fine. You could even say "Hang on a mo" and you would be perfectly understood all over Britain.
