Nope, religion are started to control people by using fear and is arguably the biggest divider of the world today.
I am a nice guy so I won't start my own religion even though starting a religion/cult is a great money making scheme. Show me a religon founder/preacher who is not loaded with money. The irony is "Religion" has now become a means of doing evil by preaching good.
