I have a Sony. While many of my friends own IPODs and they seem to have continual problems, my Sony works like a charm. Not the biggest as far as storage, but 1GB is enough.

I have the iriver for the gym which is only 512mb. Its very easy to use and was my first mp3. I decided to upgrade to the creative zen vision M since everyone has the Ipod. I think the screen and pics are way better the ipod. I love it. It also has FM radio, which ipod does not have. I also happen to like my boyfriend's ipod nano. So it depends on what you're looking for and the easy use of the software. Also do your research. I uses Circuit city.com. Click on user reviews under each product and read other people's experiences for the product.

Wat the??? Ipods are much more expensive than Zens. You live in Singapore, so the best you can get for the price are Creative products. I personally love the Iriver Clix, becauz it's the cheapest mp3 player and can play quality videos. But if videos aren't your type, get the ZenV. ZenV is way better than iPod Nano. I think u're a newb of mp3 players, so go to reviews.cnet.com to learn more, I can't explain everything here. All i say is u should buy Creative products instead of Apple's, becauz u'r living in Singapore.

ipods have been a disappointment to me, they got the best looks but they are not that great for battery life and lifespan.ipod software is also a bit crappy. why would you bother with the hasttle of charging it everyday and when you leave it overnight to charge, the battery gets ruined. i'll recommend creative, they have the most advance system and the battery life is rather long for most of their models. creative has the easiest to use software. whichis definately good. creative scores in functionality and durability. i also have a sony, my is a flash drive based one, with an disgustingly-impressive 50-hrs battery life. i use it every time i travel and charge it at most twice a month.down side to sony: the software. the software is so bad that i haven't changed my songs in the mp3 player for many months now, its a shame and a pity sony makes pathetically-slow, laggy, and messy software.
hoped i helped u, good luck
