As far as I know Guernsey is part of the United Kingdom, even though it has a special tax-status.
So my guess is: No, you would be traveling within the UK, so no passport is needed.

This question, or a varient of it, is asked on almost a daily basis!.

Just to clarify, if you are travelling on a domestic flight within the UK or to the Republic of Ireland, you do NOT need a passport.

However, what you do need is an acceptable form of photographic ID, for example a photocard driving license. Certainly every domestic airline I have used, including Ryanair, Easyjet etc accept the photocard licence as ID.

If you are unsure, contact your airline.

If you are british, you'll need some kind of ID, these days I think it is passport.
