now that the yankees are out of the post season what will happen to the team. Do they need more arms or do they just need to dump a-rod? I would have bet my children that the yanks would win it all this year, what in the world happened to them?

Both!
Yankee starters are unreliable. old and just down right flaky!
You never know what you'll see when they get on the mound!
Yankee relief pitchers are even sorrier than the starters!
Stupid Cashman! That ****** didn't even bother to get good arms when he had the chance! He acted like it was HIS money he was spending instead of Steinbrenner's! Now look what you did, Cashman! Stupid Punk!
And ~ yes, the Tigers are that good!
They are determined to win it all this year. I watched them all summer, most games were good, some were great, some stunk,
but they never lost that "LOOK" ~ "The Eye of the Tiger" ~ no pun intended.
I expected this series to go the full 5 games with the Yankees winning and advancing to the ALCS, but the Tigers just steam-rolled over them and the Yanks just lied there and took it!
God, I'm gonna barf!

Both!!! The Yankees have been a real disappointment this year and the Tigers have been the exact opposite. The Yankees need good, young pitching. They can not win with the pitching they have. The Tigers have been a strong cohesive group this year. The Yankees have their moments where there was some infighting going on. Real high school stuff. They need to grow up and get on with it.

It's all about starting pitching in a 5 game series. You don't need to look any farther than the last game's starters. Tigers pitcher was perfect through 5 or 6 innings, and the Yanks starter was already long gone by that time. Yankees lineup this year was the best I've seen in my lifetime, but you can't score if you don't hit the ball. Conversely, if you toss Jaret Wright in an elimination game and the calendar doesn't say 1997, you know you're in trouble.

The tigers are a good team this season. The yankees are a very over-rated team. Ever since 9/11, now the yankees are supposed to hold a special place in our heart? Hell no, they stink as a team. They take great talent and turn them into puppets, and example would be Johnny Damon. When he was on the Red Sox, they allowed him to be however he wanted to be, which was a Jesus look-a-like. Now that he's in the yankee organization, they told him to get rid of his Jesus look and turn into a pretty boy.

Another thing that sucks about them is that they believe you can buy a world series by buying the best of the best. I'm sure we'll see alot of changes to the Yankees line-up next year.

Don't get me wrong, I used to be a huge Yankees fan back in the day. When Jeter first came on, Paul O'Neil, Chuck Knoblock, Jorge Posada, Tino Martinez, Bernie Williams... I forget what years they were together, but man, that was a hell of a team!

Both. The Yankees are overrated and overpaid. and the Tigers pitching and hitting have been outstanding For A team that nobody gave a second thought about before this season began , the Tigers should be able to win it all

Why cant you people give credit where credit is due?

Face the facts, The Tigers were a team that wanted it more than you. They played like it. They acted like it. They were a team, and it showed on the field and in the dugout.

The Tigers were simply the better team. Admit it, and get on with your lives.

The yankees ROCK! Are you people crazy. They lost because they didnt have pitching, not A-rod. He was batting .290, how is that bad enough to trade him. Maybe he had one bad year, but you don't trade him. They have the best line-up in the game so it had to be their starting pitching.
