I have 3 grown children and I found out I was pregnant 1 day after missing my period. So as I figure, I could have only been about 3 weeks along. I used home pregnancy kits, but went to the doctor a short time after to make the conformation positive for me. The home pregnancy test kits are looking for a certain level of hormone to determine pregnancy. Some women's bodies show this earlier than others, so if your test is negative, it doesn't necessarily mean that is so. Your best bet is to go to the doctor for the comformation.

USUALLY THE HOME KITS DETECT PREGNANCY 3 DAYS AFTER THE CONCEIVING, BUT IT'S NOT ACCURATE. 5 WEEKS IS GOOD COS THE LEVEL OF THE HORMONE THAT IS DETECTED BY IT IS HIGH ENOUGH. I DETECTED MY PREGNANCY ON 4 WEEKS 2 DAYS.

I was 5weeks 1 day this time when the home pregnancy test came back positive.Went to the Doctor's to have my blood drawn to be sure and it took only 3 hrs to get the results back from the lab.So to answer your question yes you can find out this early in pregnancy. The best test is a blood serum test.

Yes. It is possible. Collect the morning urine and bring to a doc for a check up.
Or try to test on the kind strips that are in market.
