by outlawing prayer in school, Christmas trees, creches in public places, the Ten Commandments in public places, and so on.
Separation of church and state, as defined by the founding fathers, has nothing to do with any of this.

When did the US change from "the greatest good for the greatest number" and begin pandering to the minority which whines the loudest?

You should learn to fight for what you believe in! Funny how these liberal organizations can stop ones belief in prayer, etc., but no one demonstrates about these issues!

The same reason why we shouldn't discriminate Ethnic-Minorities and Lifestyle Minories. Also, since there are more women than Men ratio, should Men then have less rights?

I think the USA has brought to fore one of the MOST important rights of humanity, the right to freedom of choice, doesnt mean if you have a big majority of people who believe in one philosophy, then the rest MUST follow suit. USA only "curbs" something if it begins to get harmful to people... I think that is very Noble.

If the majority of USA were Satanists for example and YOU were the 14%, would you like your senses to be flooded with indoctrination media? Would you oblige an Altar to the dark one in middle of say your/ your siblings/your children's school hall?

I really admire that about america, their supreme effort inbringing equal rights to one and all, majority OR minority.

Not everyone who bleives in god thinks it's a good idea to force children to prey when they don't want to. Look they haven't outlawed christmas trees. Prayer in schools is allowed just not group preyers in class times students are allowed in free time.My school even had a bible club. That 14 ppercent have rights and so do you but making somone prey is not one of them. Forcing them to swallow your religion isn't one of them. Please take a look at the real world. The ten commandments are not everyones beliefs and the government is set to keep it fair for the 14% other people. Seperation of the church and state is their for a reason the founding fathers didn't want people like you to end making everyone digest what you thought was best. Read your history book.

Although I'm not a christian, but as a Muslim I believe in God too.
And I agree that America is not showing the God Believing Face.
I don't know why the media and activities is not as believing as the true people are. I don't know why is it OK in the US to insult religions and religious people (American Movies insults Christianity most of the time). Why is it OK that God is insulted in the American movies and nobody acts. But what I like in America is the freedom, if you could use the good side of it only it would be perfect.

Harry, as someone who get's round fairly bit, even with if information teach believers in God to be in the 70 to ninety p.c. determination in American, my good discernment or idea is that once you truly dig, that's truly a lot decrease, like in the 50 to 60 % determination. a lot of human beings use God as a teach piece because they thinks that's the challenge to position self assurance in, yet even as the rubber meets the line and also you truly push them, their agnostics at perfect, and atheist at worst. And this coming from a good believer in Christ, why might want to I be biased antagonistic to their being a lot less Christians ? God bless.

first of all, they didn't outlaw prayer in school. a case in 1963 specifically stated that if a school allows secular events, i.e. football games, chess clubs, etc, it *must* allow for religious ones during free time at school, just as it allows for the secular events during free time. Second, the other things u mentioned violate the seperation of church and state clause clearly stated in the constitution. Third, most of the founding fathers were Deists, not Theists, meaning that they believed in a Creator, but that He had no direct hand in the running of the Universe, i.e. Natural Law ran the show.

Because the Bible teaches Christians to love their enemies and turn the other cheek? And because God is big enough to fight his own battles without the help of the Federal government and Christian fanatics?

Hasnt the past four years of war taught people anything? Talliban and Al Quaeda....this is what you get when government is drivien by religion...

Who told you 86% believe in God? Even if they do, which I doubt, who says it is the same God you believe in.

Even if they did believe in your God, what makes you think they believe in Christ? Jews and Moslems believe in your God but not in Christ.

Just because you were brainwashed as a child why should you as a minority be allowed to force your beliefs of children too young to decide or adults who don't have the same faith as you.

You cannot force your beliefs on other people. If you feel the need to try it appears that you don't think that your collection of myths and ledgends will hold up if people have a free choice.

There is free access to Christianity. How pittiful that you want to exchange that for compulsive indoctrination.

Who did you learn from? Mao Tse Tung?

I think you would be closer to reality in saying 86% of Americans believe in a god. There are many religions in the mix , e.g. An agnotic will say they believe in God. But how many believe in religions?

A belief in God doesn't make you christian. All of the things that you just listed are christian traditions. Why does everyone else have to suffer your superstitions and myths?
