For most women a must have in the wardrobe why you ask well where do I start.
The colour suits most skin tones. It is slimming to ones figure and also can create curves even if you have none. It is something you can wear to any occasion funeral, first date if you are not sure where you are going, party, night club, meet the parents for the first time, job interview the list is endless.You can also wear it anytime of the year any season.
If all else fails in the wardrobe a little or in my case big black dress never does.
You can change it by adding different things belt, jewellery etc.
Honest Dave you should have one in your wardrobe you will never be without it if you do.

There's nothing special about it. That's the point. It allows the girl wearing it to be herself, dressing up or down depending on how she's feeling or who she's with. The girls I know don't like to bullsh*t anyone, so they prefer dressing simply. Simplicity is the key I think. And as a bloke I can only commend simplicity. As for fit, the right LBD will show off a womans best assets whatever they may be.

I don't know either, I prefer my pink dress with the lace, oh so pretty. I think the big deal to the black dress is that it is one dress that you buy that is suitable for all functions everywhere such as funerals, weddings (maybe), prom, semi formal, birthday parties, job interviews...all those types of formal occasions. Also as it is black it is slimming and flattering to all body types.

Black is elegant and understated (esp. if simply cut.) It can go anywhere from a funeral to a fancy night out. You can accessorize to suit the occasion as everything goes with black. You can look severe and professional, or wicked and sexy, depending on what you do with it. The little black is essential!

well black is a colour that makes womens curves show more. The little black dress shows off the breast, hips, a r s e n thighs perfectly.

men must have an equivalent...when you don't know what to wear you go back to your trusty blue shirt and jeans or white tshirt and jeans etc...

When you have found the right one you can aleays rely on it - for most occasions. I have more than one 'favourite' little black dress but then Im a bit fickle!

It is totally flexible. You can take from the office to the club, to a funeral to a wild party. It's all in how you accessorize.
