The of the room you are standing in because two way mirrors only work if the room you are in is dark and if it is then the box is dark too so you can't see anything.

The "different lizards" in the mirror will scare the chameleon and make turn a dismal eco-friendly color with blackish splotches mutually as they conflict to combat off the "intruders". opposite to often happening thought chameleons do not exchange hues to mixture into their environments. whilst they get chilly they're going to turn a darker color so as that this is far less annoying to take in warmth. additionally, like I mentioned above, they're going to turn a darker color whilst worried, disappointed, or scared.

The chameleon's colour would be...

...whatever colour it was when it was put into the hypothetical box.

It would be the only object reflected in the hypothetical box; ergo, it would try to match this object's colour.

When chameleons find themselves in situations where they are not required to imitate specific colors, they display corporate logos, as many humans do. However, unlike humans, chameleons are smart enough to negotiate a small fee in exchange for using their bodies as ad space.

Whatever colour they turn when they want to fight / mate / play piggy in the middle.. i.e. they would probably think there were other chameleon present (if they have their eyes open that is, or do they even have eye lids? can they blink...??)

The colour of a crazy one - seeing so many images of itself, it can't but go crazy.
Good question. There is a philosophical message here - variety is life and lack of it insanity.

When you'll look at it to check it's colours in the mirror, it will change it's colours to match with your colours.i.e. it's colours would match your colours.
