Judging by the stupidity of that question, I really hope you don't own a gun...or a remote. But honestly, I think the remote would be destroyed first.

Depending on how forcefully the projectile impacts the remote, it presumably could work, but why not just use your finger? I mean, since you're using your finger to squeeze the gun's trigger, your finger obviously works, so why not cut out the middle-man and go straight to source?
