This can happen sometimes, and the more you stress the longer it will take to come, just relax, but if your really concern go see a Doctor, the fact you have not had sex marks out pregnancy, if you have just gone on some medication this may be affecting your period, if your worried sweetie go see a Docotr ok Hugz

Lots of things can affect your cycle. Most likely it is stress or you've lost a lot of weight. Be glad you haven't had sex because that would be much more stress on you. If you're concerned, I'd suggest going to a clinic or seeing a nurse practitioner. You can see a doctor about it if you want but it's very unlikely to be anything a nurse practitioner can't handle.

I would say to just relax and not worry about it. The more you stress yourself out about it, the longer it will take since our bodies tend to react to things like that.

If another week or two goes by and you still haven't gotten your period, then make an appointment to see your doctor. He will run a few simple tests that will test your hormone levels, and just to be safe he will do a pregnancy test (its standard proceedure). If everything checks out normally, then he will most likely proscribe you Progestrone pills (Progestrone is what causes us to get our period), birth control, or he might perscribe you both.

Don't worry. Some woman don't have regular periods until about the age of 25. If you're not sexually active then you don't need to worry about being pregnant. If you are that concerned then go to the gyno.

Could be a wide range of reasons like stress for example? Go do your doctor if it concerns you, but I believe it's not a problem to miss the odd one.

Maybe you are now just experiencing an irregularity on your period. Dont worry because it also happens to me but i'm not pregnant, just be sure that you really didn't have sex or anything before that happened.

Stress is a way that your period can come late. Also going on a diet or loosing weight can cause your period to come late. Relax. You know that you aren't pregnant, so just wait for your period to come. There is nothing else that you can do.

I know that stress can be one of the reasons. My friend who was on her protein diet caused this too. It happened to me before, 15 days or so. I think it was due to change of environment. Or sometimes some drastic change in that month, eg. change job. It happened to me.

You may be stressed out and you may have Mono. Go to the doctor and find out for sure to make sure it's not something more serious such as PCOS.
