Yes, I have very fond memories of my first love. He was a lovely man. We were together for three years but we both wanted different things out of life. He wanted to go travelling and I wanted to go to university, so we went our separate ways. We didn't speak to one another for five years and, then I bumped into him about a year ago and, we have been in touch ever since. He is married now with a child. I still love him, but as a friend.

Maybe cheerful for you......not everyone would see it that way.
I have kept in contact with a guy I used to date but we never got into a sexual relationship. We were seventeen at the time. Yes, I know it may be hard to believe. We are both married to others.

I have mostly happy memories from my first love except the way that it ended. On our two year anniversary of us being engaged, I caught him in bed with a girl that was supposed to be my best friend. Years later, he and I got back in contact and tried to be friends but it just didn't work out. Too bad because we were great friends before we ever started dating.

It felt like love at the time (aged 16), but now I'm not so sure. He two timed me on several occasions and then managed to worm his way back in every time. My next love was true love and we're still together after 7 years.

I am married to mine. I dated him in High schol for 4 years and he broke up with me for another woman. After 5 years of a bad marriage and a couple of kids he came back to me and we got married. I got to adopt one of the kids and the mom kept the other one. I have been married to him now for 28 happy years.

When I was in the lower VI, I fell head over heels for a girl in my chemistry class.
She never gave me any indication she was remotely interested in me romantically, which broke my heart. However, we did become firm friends, and now, a quater of a century later, she is my best and dearest friend.

I sure do. It was good. That's something that you are still in contact with your first love. I don't think very many people are.
