does this sound like a good reason not to marry, she says that my last name does not sound good with her first name! or I asked her unexpectedly? we have been together for about 12 years!!

She can keep her last name or have it hyphenated. As for asking unexpectedly, I always thought that it was supposed to be a surprise to be proposed to. If she has those insignificant worries, she is either nervous about marriage or you might need to reconsider the seriousness of your relationship, because 12 years is a long time.

these are all excuses. my last name does not sound good with my first but i wanted to marry my husband anyway. i wanted his name don't waste another 12 years

12 yrs.? honey thats fear! I lived with my man almost 13 yrs. before we married. I made it clear to him it was fear and I would let him know if and when I was ready. some fears take longer to get over then others ,but she should give you better reasons then shes giving you now- they make it sound like shes not in love.

To be honest with you, it sounds a bit like she perhaps doesn’t want to marry you, and will use any excuse she can come up with to avoid it.
Do you have to get married?… If things are going well the way they are, then perhaps you should leave it that way.
