Perhaps they did exist, but if they did it would be hard to prove scientifically. Mainly because the ear is made out of cartilage which does not become fossilized like bone does after some one dies. So who knows maybe they did exist at one time, but what ever cause the evolution of those traits disappeared and the traits vanished over the centuries.

Me? No, not really. At least not in the sense I think you are asking about. If you are talking about the elves that help Santa Clause make toys for all the children in the world, and faries that take your lost tooth from under you pillow and replace it with money, I think that they are myths so ingrained in our culture (USA) for parents to tell their children, that they just keep telling them generation after generation.
However, IMO, behind every great myth, is a small grain of truth and a vivid imagination.
Sooooooo, one doesn't really know for sure, does one?

I'm not sure about elves, but there are plenty of faeries. Just go to the west village in NY or Cherry grove on Fire island. Nyah!

definite that's genuine. i develop into 4 years previous. i'd see a duende for extra then one twelve months. almost each and every nighttime. As I grew older, i did not ask my moms and dads till my youthful adulthood. in any case, my father shown that in that position of living in placentia California develop into likely haunted i'd say. Paranormal interest got here about. in addition they keep in mind me asking. I keep in mind my mom might want to assert that it develop into my uncle protecting my sister and me. My mom also suggested that my grandmother had a midgit son that surpassed faraway from heart topics. So from my journey i favor to verify that "definite" they exist and they don't seem precisely eco-friendly

The elves and faeries are all about us. I seldom see them in my garden, but I know they are there. The best time to catch them is in Spring and Autumn. Where do they hide in Summer and Winter?
