Good and inexpensive probably means used. To me good means cast iron or heavy gauge metal, ideally with an air space between the metal of the fire box and the exterior through which space air may be forced by a fan, warmed, and projected into the living space.
You are the best judge of the features which are important to you. Do an internet search for wood stove and determine from reviewing all the sites what features or brands you prefer.
Then check with your local wood stove specialty stores to see if they have used units acquired as "trade ins." Also inquire at second hand stores, newspaper. Auction sites may be an apt source, but the shipping costs will be substantial due to the weight of the device.

If you can find a dealer that sells & installs wood stoves, they usually have used ones that they take out of homes from people that are upgrading. The installers will usually keep these out back of their store until they can get rid of them. They usually give them away.
