I really liked a woman for a while, but she was holding onto a relationship that wasn't there... I finally said enough is enough, and moved on... She realized that I was out of the picture and gave up on the other guy. Unfortunately I had already meet someone else. We weren't best friends but we had known each other for quite some time, and were friends. I can only say that the two of you should discuss this. If the other girl/woman is holding off on dating your friend, maybe he should say goodbye. It would not be healthy to bottle your feelings up. If he is unwilling to let go, or things get worked out between them, than it is time to find someone else. That doesn't mean to completely sever ties though... you can still be friends.

so is he with the other girl or is she stringing him along? Either way it doesnt matter, put it all out there for him, tell him how you feel.
