I was very much in love at age 18, and married at that age. I was surprised that the person I loved, changed and became moody and depressed type of person. He was cold, whereas he was warmer. I think he only wanted to have sex with me, and then after a baby came along in a few years, it all changed and was not fun any more. Too immature for this responsibility? Why can't young love, blossom and does with some people, and some go the other way. . . What made your young marriage work out?

Oh, I divorced him a long time ago. I just think that there are some couples made for each other and for some reason you just bring out the bad in each other. It is a personality thing I guess. I have a really great guy and been married a long time. I know a young couple, just married and expecting the baby, and I just hope that they can stay together, they are older, 26 yrs old rather than 18, which I think is much better to be older.

I was first married when I was 21. I am now 45. Looking back on it , I thought I love the man but I did not. My marriage turned into hell. I feel I was too young. Some people think they are ready then find out later that it was wrong. Unfortunatly , we all learn by our mistakes. And guess what I married a second time and that was worse. Never again, I married two control freaks that used to bash me up.
Good Luck

Women are usually more mature than men. And men tend to have a harder time with the responsibilities of marriage than women. Such as child care, paying bills, wanting to party. I got married at 17 right after I graduated from high school, my husband is 10 years older than I am. But we just had to work at making our marriage work. Good communication, and being open and honest with each other helps. Some people both male and female have trouble when it comes to responsibility. If it gets really bad, you may want to try marriage counseling.
Good Luck.

Mine completely changed or i was to dumb to see what was right under my nose. All i know I was really sick once (close to death) and mine walked out and left. I have never really trusted a woman sense. Be careful people' Sometimes you think you know someone but you really don't. Nothing wrong with marriage if you have the right one. Just make sure it's the right one.
