The process of hosting the World Cup is very long and complicated, where several factors are taken in consideration and politics has a main role in that!
FIFA's Executive Committee evaluates each member nations request of each Soccer Federation and then they vote for the selected Country.
Usually the Word Cup was hosted alternatively between two continents: America and Europe. Then in 2002 the World Cup was assigned to Asia. Now in 2010 is the turn for Africa.
There has been so much involvement of S. Blatter in this context... I really do not want to go over again about this individual (a clown).
The 2010 World Cup in South Africa will be like any other World Cup: well organized and a great success. It is important to understand that in order to host a World Cup, a country should demonstrate long in advance its economical and organized capabilities. I think South Africa have given to FIFA these kind of warranties... otherwise they would have chosen some other African Nation with better infrastructures (which I doubt is available at this time)

They are humans too and have every right to have the same rights as everyone else. What does it matter anyways? Are you racist?
