Ok my 1st theory was to create a shield of anti-gravity and use ion engines, use the anit-gravity to break the earths atmosphere and then use ion engines to travel in space. My 2nd theory, What 'if' we could build a shield which has a greater force than gravity, theortically it could 'push' gravity away.

technically u have some ideas going on, what u failed to know is the speed needed to do space travel, unless u wanna only travel slightly faster than the sound.. and thats not enough! but then travelling at light speed means, disintergreting anything and everything and then reaching to the required distance and falling back into the same positon. its like throwing ur fixed jigsaw picture across ur room and expecting them to land on ur floor without all of them in the right place.. get it?

regards

If you could build a device that generates a massive gravity field large enough to compress space itself then you would simply have to place a space craft near to the device while it is switched off. When you turn it on space would become compressed (ignoring the fact that the ship would be compressed also.. would need a way to counteract the effect of the device on the craft) then all said craft would have to do is travel a relatively short distance form the device where upon the device would be switched off, space expands back to normal & your craft along with it. Thus moving the craft to another point in space without actually travelling any great distance.

If you ignore the massive flaws its a pretty good idea.....

Physics as all of us understand it at the moment tells us that travelling swifter than elementary isn't accessible, because as you attitude the speed of sunshine, your mass procedures infinity. An no longer accessible concern. That being suggested, the above end assumes you employ ordinary the thanks to vacation through 3 dimensional area. different theories, like the only postulated through physicist Burkhard Heim take a miles extra quantum attitude to the answer. that's no longer swifter than elementary, that's fending off p.c. all at the same time through bypassing area/time through interdenominational vacation....i.e. warping, folding or sidestepping ordinary dimensional area. Now because Heim's idea has an uncanny knack for predicting the mass of debris to a intense degree of accuracy, a lot more suitable than the different idea yet, many are taking the different elements of his idea a touch extra heavily. we will see how this performs out over the subsequent 5 to 10 years as testing might want to truly start up fairly quickly.

Like the idea! Made me think. Would it create a worm/black hole, or would it just cause an implosion...interesting...will have to think of this one for a while....
