Clean the heads on your dvd player and check the discs to make sure that they are the right region for you machine.

Well you can't clean the heads because dvd players don't have heads...lol The best suggestion here is to buy a new one. It's cheaper than getting that one repaired. Most dvd players last less than a year. You got 2 out of yours ;-)

but before you buy a new one, sell the old one on Ebay. Then you can use the money to buy a new one... Walmart has some good ones for less than $70.

try to clean the lense of the DVD drive or clean the DVD's themselfs
