Do what what the other people like math, art, history, and so on said but when you enter architecture be prepared for:

Acoustics
Structural analysis
Thermal analysis
Solar access analysis
Art theories such as modernism
building services
ESD (Environmental sustainability design)
cradle to cradle analysis
History of architecture
Human behavioral spaces
COmputer generated design
Manual hand drafting skills
COuncil regulations rules (Set backs, offsets)

A whole lot of things when you are in uni.

Rule of thumb:
when you are building a design, you should put as many rooms as possible in the area.
Leave 3 weeks for major projects.
Do not expect to get any sleep!

if you are really interested in that particular career then go to the library and see if they have any relevant boks or career choice books.
